FEMALE bowler Dory Enoveso was named Bowler of the Month for August after winning the Monthly Bowling Tournament of Philippine Senior Bowlers- Cebu Chapter (PSBC) in the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, Cebu City last Sunday.

Enoveso, a 43-handicapper, carded a total score of 1,263 in the six-game series, beating the 21-handicapper Boy Co who scored 1,207 for the monthly title. Vivan Padawan came up with a total score of 1,200 for third place.

Tessie Dante and Emi Osada finished at fourth and fifth place after scoring 1,189 and 1,178, respectively.

The 75-year-old Enoveso scored 179, 166 and 157 in the first three games and fired 146, 202 and 155 in the final three games.

Completing the Top 10 were Edgar Cortes with 1,163, Bebie Mauro with 1,156, Roger Asumbrado with 1,153, Tbonz Williams with 1,152 and Makoto Osada with 1,134. (RSC)
