THE Iloilo City Hall will be closed Friday noon, August 9, for fogging operations in response to the increasing number of dengue cases in the metropolis.

Mayor Jerry Treñas advised the public to process transactions in the morning to give way for the conduct of dengue preventive measure in the afternoon.

The building will remain closed until August 11 as supervised by the City Health Office.

The City Government already purchased sprayers and chemicals for misting and they will be distributed to all 180 barangays, public and private schools, and hospitals.

Treñas will also provide the same equipment and larvicides to volunteer groups that are willing to help in the anti-dengue drive. (PR)
