Walk-in vaccination for Iloilo City residents set

ILOILO City residents will have the chance for a walk-in vaccination at Robinsons Jaro and SM City vaccination sites on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Mayor Jerry Treñas said the city-purchased AstraZeneca vaccines will be made available for city residents in an effort to boost people’s protection against Covid-19 amid rising cases and Delta variant that spreads faster.

Willing vaccinees, registered or not, will only need to show valid identified card (ID) as proof that they are city residents when they go to the two mall mega-sites early to avail themselves of the doses until supplies last.

Treñas said that vaccination rollouts, along with mass swab testing on close contacts and suspected cases and strict quarantine protocols in place, can slow down the spread of the virus.

"I wish to remind all our constituents to take advantage of our vaccinations. With the threat of the Delta variant, let us try to protect ourselves as soon as possible. Please get vaccinated," said Treñas. (PR)
