2 survive Cessna plane crash

A CESSNA plane crashed on a vacant lot in Plaridel, Bulacan on Friday morning, September 17, 2021, shortly after it took off, police said.

The pilot, identified as Captain Paul Jemuel C. Gayanes, and passenger Lebon Eisen G. Sandoval survived the crash, a report from the Bulacan police said.

They were rushed to the La Consolacion General Hospital for treatment and have been declared out of danger.

Police said the plane took off from the Plaridel Airstrip runway in Barangay Lumang Bayan at about 7:40 a.m. and crashed in a grassy vacant lot in Barangay Agnaya at around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
