4 killed in Infanta shooting

FOUR persons were killed, while two others were wounded in a shooting incident in a wake in Infanta, Quezon on Wednesday evening, March 6.

The Infanta police identified the slain persons as Herman Cuento, 70; Leon Turgo Cuento, 73; Manuel Avellaneda Cuerdo, 41; and Michael Nuza Cuento, 50.

Wounded were Maximo Junio Cuento, 56, and Napoleon Miras, 68.

Based on initial investigation, a man, armed with a caliber .45 pistol, entered the house in Purok Irrigation, Barangay Ilog in Infanta and shot the victims, who were then attending a wake.

The gunman escaped after shooting the victims.

The victims were rushed to Claro M. Recto Memorial District Hospital but only two of them survived.
