A CARGO vessel ran aground close to the seawall of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City as Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) battered Metro Manila, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

"Dahil sa lakas ng hangin at alon na dala ng Bagyong #UlyssesPH isang cargo vessel ang sumadsad sa Joggers walk Sea Wall ng SM Mall of Asia,” she said in a Facebook post.

She said her office was coordinating with the Philippine Coast Guard to rescue the vessel, which was marked as “Peter Ronna”.
