CCPO to Grab: Beef up units’ security features

Sunnexdesk

THE Cebu City Police Office advised operators of ride-hailing services to install safety features in their vehicles following the killing of a Grab driver in Pasay City.

Supt. Ryan Devaras, chief of the Investigation and Detection Management Branch, urged them to install emergency lights in their units, which they can turn on if something is happening.

Because of the incident, Grab driver Joseph Navarro, 49, said he supports the move requiring passengers to present government-issued identification cards to make sure that they are legitimate passengers. (JOB)
