SHOWBIZ personalities are big winners this 2016 poll.

Re-elections Herbert Bautista garnered more than 683,000 votes in the partial and unofficial results for the mayoral race in Quezon City.

Actress Lani Mercado was already proclaimed winner as new Bacoor, Cavite mayor while her son, Jolo Revilla is leading the vice gubernatorial poll in the province.

Meanwhile, Vicente "Tito” Sotto is expected for another six-year term in the Senate as he currently ranks third in the senatorial race.

Joseph Ejercito Estrada also emerged the winner in the Manila mayoral race after a slim margin of victory over Alfredo Lim.

Estrada, who received a total of 283,149 votes, only surpassed Lim with just 2,000 votes.

"It's Showtime" host Jhong Hilario, who is running for councilor, is also winning in the first district of Makati City.

Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos is winning in the congressional race in the 6th District of Batangas.

Other celebrities who emerged winners are Richard Gomez as Mayor of Ormoc City, re-electionist Leyte Representative Lucy Torres, and Alfred Vargas, who ran unopposed as fifth district representative of Quezon City. (Sunnex)
