City allocates P29.9M for new police headquarters

THE proposed new Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) headquarters will break ground Tuesday at the former Zamboanga Barter Goods and Retailers Association area, located at the back of the City Hall.

Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said the project is a priority of her administration and is the City Government’s support to the security sector.

Salazar said P29.947 million has been allocated in the supplemental budget for 2014 for the new ZCPO headquarters.

The proposed two-storey headquarters will be undertaken by the Everlast Construction Company and will be completed in a about 200 calendar days.
