THE Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong confirmed Wednesday they continued to receive complaints from the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) over the bosses' treatment towards them, a Bombo Radyo report said.

This following the hostage crisis in Manila in which a dismissed policeman armed with an M16 rifle and a pistol seized a busload of 21 Chinese tourists and four locals to demand his reinstatement on the force. Eight Hong Kong nationals were killed.

Consul General Claro Cristobal said one Filipina domestic helper was removed from worked despite the remaining one month for her to get home in the country.

He said many of the complainants said Hong Kong nationals already treated them as bad people.

With this, the OFWs in Hong Kong formed an organization to express to their bosses that they also grieved over the hostage taking incident.
