Drug pusher shot dead in Cordova drug bust

A SUSPECTED drug pusher was killed in a shootout with police during a drug bust in Barangay Ibabao, Cordova in Cebu around 11 p.m. Monday, August 1.

Cordova police, led by Senior Inspector Jomar Medil, and members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency shot dead Jonathan Bentulan, a resident of the area.

Police said that Bentulan pulled out his firearm after sensing the poseur buyer is a police.

Recovered from the scene were .38 revolver with three live ammunitions, six small sachets of suspected shabu, and marked money.
