Students launch 'Going Green Project'

ANGELES CITY -- The University Student Council (USC) of Holy Angel University (HAU) launched on Wednesday the "Going Green Project" to promote pro-environment initiatives among students of the university.

The event aims to promote environmental awareness, instill values of global competitiveness and sustainable development through environmental initiatives.

The event will run under the theme "Saving Gaia: The Earth Warriors' Forgotten Mission."

It will also feature events like photography competitions, junk art exhibitions, debate, poetry writing, and a mini-concert all in a three-day celebration from Wednesday until Friday.

HAU will also observe its own version of Earth Hour as it will switch-off all lights in the school premises from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.
