TV5 or the Kapatid Network, the country's fastest growing network, is looking for good-looking and talented young Dabawenyos who have the potential to be the country's next teen celebrities in the day-long auditions to be held at SM Davao's Event Center on Sunday (August 1) from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The network, recently acquired by the group of business tycoon Manuel Pangilinan, is all set to make a niche in the broadcast industry, offering an option to two of the country's giant networks -- GMA Network and ABS-CBN.

Sunday's audition will be for TV5's upcoming reality-based artista search Star Factor, which will screen showbiz hopefuls aged 13-18 years old for the total package of good looks, exceptional talent and charm, and the all-important star quality.

Applicants are required to bring a copy of their birth certificate, two passport size and two full body pictures and fill up the Star Factor registration form at the audition venue.

To air for 15 weeks, starting in September, Star Factor will be hosted by actress-host-model Ruffa Gutierrez, who herself is the epitome of what stardom is all about. Not only will she serve as a role model for the show's would-be contestants, she will be a big sister, mentor and friend to them as well.

Aside from the young showbiz aspirants who will be undergoing various challenges to prove their rightful claim to stardom, Star Factor also showcases a panel of judges who are experts in the field of show business and who all have the eye for true star potential.
