Web development seminar set

THE Department of Trade and Industry -- Davao City Field Office (DTI-DCFO), in partnership with Philippine National IT Standards (PhilNits) Foundation, is slated to hold a capability building seminar for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the Project Techie.

Entitled "Promotion and Marketing: Internet Based Marketing (Blogging and Web Development)" the free seminar is slated on February 22 to 24 at the PhilNits Davao Office, 5th Floor, Mintrade Building, Monteverde-Sales Streets, Davao City, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Said training will provide MSMEs the necessary skills to develop their own website for market promotion and networking as well as presence in the internet or world wide web.

MSMEs will also be taught on how maintain their website and how to maximize the website using search engine optimization.

Registration fee is free and food/snacks will be provided, as well as, training kit. However, said training is exclusively available only to business owners and company partners/incorporators.
