City conducts orientation for health card beneficiaries

Sunnexdesk

PERMANENT employees in the City Government of San Fernando, who are beneficiaries of the health services program, attended the orientation on the utilization of their health cards on October 12, at Heroes Hall.

The orientation was led by the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), together with the city’s partner, Philippine British Assurance Company, Inc.

Topics discussed during the orientation were membership eligibility, benefits, and comprehensive package.

It could be recalled that the card became available for use in September of this year, enabling employees to avail of their annual Physical Exam, hospitalization, dental checkups, laboratory, diagnostics tests and other health benefits, covering the 100 percent maximum benefit limit for a year.

Just recently, the city launched the same program for its job order employees, as part of its strengthening in the compliance with the “Equal Employment Opportunity” policy. (PR)
