Indian nabbed for carnapping

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - An Indian national was arrested by cops after allegedly stealing a dump truck in Camiling, Tarlac recently.

The town police said the suspect was arrested during a follow-up operation which stemmed from a report that a dump truck went missing from the parking of its owner’s residence.

Police were able to locate the dump truck in the possession of Ropinder Singh (Indian name) aka Jaani Singh (Philippine name), 27, Indian national and presently residing in Pangasinan province.

Singh was immediately taken to the Camiling Police Station along with the stolen vehicle.

The suspect will be facing charges for violation of RA 6539 or the Anti-Carnapping law.
