MABALACAT CITY -- Businessmen in Pampanga support government measures against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

This was confirmed by Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Incorporated (PamCham) President Rene Romero during an interview on Friday, July 3, 2020.

Romero, however, stressed that local traders need to contribute to government efforts to revive the economy.

Despite health standards that are implemented by the government, he said that businessmen in the province agreed to relaunch their respective businesses as soon as possible.

Pampanga traders, particularly those engaged in small businesses, are having difficulty in terms of operation and profitability.

Romero mentioned that the minimum health standards imposed by the government affect the operation of businesses especially the small ones.

The PamCham top official also cited the limited capacity of business establishments including restaurants and others that offer services.
