Pineda daughter unopposed in Lubao

ESMERALDA “Esmie” Pineda, a daughter of Governor Lilia Pineda, is running unopposed for mayor of Lubao town in the May 13, 2019 midterm elections.

Her runningmate for vice-mayor, Jay Montemayor, is also unopposed.

The newbie Pineda earlier filed her certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Elections office in Lubao town.

She was accompanied by Pampanga Vice-Governor Dennis Pineda and three-term Lubao mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab.

She is running under the Kapanalig at Kambilan ning Memalen Pampanga (Kambilan).

She joins the roster of unopposed candidates in the 2019 polls, including Governor Pineda who is running for vice-governor.

Based on the partial and unofficial list of candidates from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday, October 18, Kambilan candidates for Pampanga’s first, second and third districts are all running unopposed.
