Senior Inspector Shellamie Chang, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) information officer, identified the arrested suspects as Nur Hussein Panung alias Laking, 46, and Abdulhan Alkari Alias Uchi, 32.

Chang said Panung was arrested in a drug bust at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday in Baliwasan village.

Seized from the suspect were P10,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” packed in five heat-seal plastic sachets and P200 marked money, she added.

Chang said Alkari was arrested in another drug bust at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday at Purok 6 in Sinunuc village. Alkari yielded P3,500 worth of suspected shabu packed in two heat-sealed plastic sachets and P500 marked money, Galvez said.
