TWO suspected big time drug pushers were arrested while some P41,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in two separate drug busts in Zamboanga City on Wednesday, May 15.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) said the first suspect, Benhar Musa, 26 was caught in possession of P10,000 worth of suspected shabu around 5:30 p.m. in the village of Recodo, Zamboanga City.

The police also seized P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills and a coin purse.

Muktar Akbara, 22, was arrested by the Police Station 10 operatives around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the village of Campo Islam.

The police said recovered from Akbara’s possession were P31,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in two large size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, a pouch and marked money.

The police said the two arrested drug personalities were detained while appropriate charges are set to be filed against them. (SunStar Philippines)
