A DRUG suspect was arrested while some P102,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Police Colonel Albert Larubis, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified the arrested suspect as Lito Presno, 41, listed as high-value drug personality.

Larubis said that Presno was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of search warrant Friday at Purok San Francisco in Pangi village, Ipil, the capital town of Zamboanga Sibugay.

Larubis seized from the suspect were some 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, a cellular phone, and illegal drug paraphernalia.

He said the suspect was detained at Ipil Municipal Police Station while formal charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
