ONE person died while another was injured when a motorcycle crashed into a truck’s rear in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported.

Ruben Atad, who was driving the motorcycle, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital.

His back rider, Roger Dagpin, Jr., was injured.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said the incident happened around 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, at the junction of the national highway in Purok Orchids in the village of Macleodes, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte.

Galvez said the truck was driven by Lorenzo Abordo, Jr. and was traveling from Sergio Osmeña town to Dipolog City
