PDEA, police dismantle drug den in Zamboanga Sibugay town

JOINT Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police operatives have dismantled a drug den and arrested seven drug suspects in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay.

Emerson Margate, PDEA regional director, identified the alleged drug maintainers as John Arnold Ramos, Hanan Capunol and Carlito Capisen.

Margate said they were arrested together with Mae Fuentes, Mark Narido, Jasper Mikko Candido, and Jaesy James Sabijon, all drug den visitors.

Margate said they were arrested in an anti-drug operation last week in Purok 4, Concepcion village, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

He said seized during the anti-drug operation were some 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600.

He said charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14, Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspects. (SunStar Zamboanga)
