THE Zamboanga City Government is encouraging all residents, 18 years old and above, to register for free coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccination.

Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said it is to ensure smooth rollout of vaccines and most importantly, to get the added protection against Covid-19.

Miravite said registration is ongoing and those who wish to register may visit the website zambocovax.com or the barangay health center near in their locality for registration.

Miravite said health workers are conducting house-to-house visits for master-listing "but they may not be able to cover all households due to limitations."

The City Government has urged the public to check the list of priority population groups for the inoculation of Covid-19 vaccines and find out which group they belong.

Meanwhile, the vaccination of A2 and A3 priority groups continues in Zamboanga City.

The City Health Office has established six vaccination sites where those who fall under A2 and A3 priority groups can get inoculated.

The A2 and A3 priority groups are the senior citizens and people with comorbidities, respectively. (SunStar Zamboanga)
